Incredible String Band

Non hanno la forza dei Traffic ma non sono niente male.

Ah, con la ISB con me sfondi una porta aperta ... guardavo quel video ieri sera .... una delle mie favorite (a proposito di grandi canzoni ...) :



Con un testo fantastico :

Come si fa a non amare una canzone con quella strofa sull'Arte di Morire delle foglie in autunno ?

Ho sempre seguito le avventure dei tre originali anche dopo la ISB (forse un po`meno Mike Heron), da recenti cose di Williamson & Renbourn (qui i due grandi in Can't keep from cryin'sometimes, arpa & chitarra) :



Raccomandatissimo il loro "Wheel of Fortune"



Fino al mio favorito Clive Palmer, dopo ISB sia con la Famous Jug Band che sopratutto nei C.O.B. / Clive's Original Band, i cui due album (credo facilmente reperibili in CD) sono due gemme del prog-folk inglese dei tempi passati ...





Grande band ...



Palmer e`sempre in pista anche nei bei recenti "Just like the Ivy" o "At the pure fountain" con Williamson. E imperdibile anche Bloomsbury 1997 di Williamson & Heron.

Scusate se mi son lasciato un po`andare ma per me il giro ISB e`un mito ....
